not
looking out, not wanting
merely
existing, waiting
for
the tinge of happiness to come by
Unearned,
unwelcome, the faint drop of inspiration
Unrewarding,
without perspiration
I
wait, for it to come by
Hopelessly,
tiresome, blank
Waiting
for the single ray of hope
Of
change
To
spontaneously just… happen
Life
comes to this
becomes
dull, and we expect
God,
Almighty, Allah, Krishna
to
take us to the crossroads and preach a sermon
to
tell us what to do
But
such luxury is bereft my honor
My
inspiration will not be endowed
It
will need to be created
And
that, becomes the greatest challenge of my humanity
Not
to search for genius, for it exists within me
not
to search for talent, for it can be earned
not
to search for glory, for it is the end of the struggle
but
to simply wake up
To
tell myself that tomorrow morning will not be a better one
That
today engulfs reality, unchanging unless I act
My
destiny, depending on the power of my actions
Waiting,
for me to act
For
me, to pick up my lazy bum and begin
Even
if I don’t like it
To
act
What
life comes down to
Actions
For
that which I know is right
Action
To
move forward
To
act
To
summon 20 seconds of insane courage
And
act
